finally bringing it online

This post is long overdue.

Convincing myself to actively start maintaining a “weblog” (blog) was far more difficult than it needed to be. As a passionate early adopter of technology, this site should have been live years ago. I have used and implemented professional blog and wiki technology for many years, it was just never the right time to get mine online; well, that time is now.

For those of you at the tipping point, you are not alone.

Here are 5 reasons that kept me from getting started:

1. not enough time
   
2. lack of interesting material, who would read it?
   
3. fear of presenting an inaccurate professional and personal image
4. I am not a “writer”
5. I don’t want to jump on the bandwagon now, its too late
