in honor of doing things that really matter
January 15, 2007 – 10:52 pmListening to Dr. Martin Luther King speak sends shivers down my spine almost every time. This has been the case for as long as I can remember. His extraordinary presence and insights are physically moving. Dr. King truly was a mover who impacted and transformed everything and everybody he came into contact with.

Given the opportunity, I would thank Dr. King for:
- questioning the status quo and taking action to push beyond it
- being accessible to those most in need
- relentlessly and selflessly working on things that really matter
- pursuing his dream regardless of what he was up against
